Loading of Asclepias curassavica along
Texas midcoast by monarchs week of
March 15, 2008.  Moderately to very faded
monarch females.  Most of these were
deposited on the 14th and 15th.  One
very, very faded monarch was observed
up close on the 15th.  Photos taken  on
afternoon of March 15th in Port Lavaca. 
First instar larvae indicate some eggs from
a few days ago.
